Living Potential Care Farm placements in the Community Gardens are suitable for people with a variety of needs and backgrounds.
Who can be referred?
Placements may be suitable for adults with mental health problems, brain injuries, autistic spectrum disorders or dementia.
Referral criteria
- 18 years or older
- Able to get around the farm safely
- Able to work alongside others or work towards this
- Keen to work outdoors
- Has access to funding
A referral may not be appropriate if
The person has severe mobility problems, is not keen to work outdoors, does not have funding, or would pose a significant risk in a farm environment.
